NAZI DAF INDUSTRIAL PLAQUE ~ IN TWO DIFFERENT SIZES

LARGE SIZE

On this USMBOOKS web page we offer two original diestruck aluminum Third Reich Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF or German Labor Front) industrial plaques. Both feature a Müller-Erfurt design of a laborer, an engineer and a farmer above the cogged wheel and swastika of the DAF. Below the cogged wheel and swastika is the Adolf Hitler quotation Ehret die Arbeit und achtet den Arbeiter (Honor Labor and Respect the Worker). It is from his speech at Tempelhof in Berlin on 1 May 1933, the first National Socialist Day of Labor.

The large 100% original Third Reich diestruck aluminum DAF industrial plaque measures about 7 x 10-1/4 inches (175 x 265 mm). It was produced by Ferdinand Wagner of Pforzheim and each corner has a small hole so it could be attached to a wooden plaque for award and display on a wall. In the lower right corner are the words GES. GESCH. which meant “PROTECTED BY LAW” (patented) in Germany during the Third Reich.

The smaller 100% original Third Reich diestruck aluminum Nazi Deutsche Arbeitsfront industrial plaque measures 10 x 15 cm (3-7/8 x 5-7/8 inches).

This example was produced by Paul Mann & Crone of Lüdenscheid and is also in very nice, probably never used or awarded condition, exactly as shown left and below.
