COMMEMORATIVE DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP CANCELATION
This is a commemorative postcard or philatelic collectible produced to commemorate the first anniversary of the liberartion of Konzentrationslager Dachau or Dachau Concentration Camp by forces of the US 7th Army in April 1945.
The Tag der Befreiung (Day of Liberation) cancelation has the words I. I.O. Dachau: 27.4.1945-46 in the middle of the 35 mm round postmark.
This 78 year old German collectible card measures 4-1/8 x 5-3/4 inches. No printing or writing on the back. Very good condition,
exactly as shown above.
