Two high-ranking SS and Nazi Police Officers wrote forewords for this interesting hardcover Third Reich book Freigemachtes Grenzland (Liberated Border Land). It is an eyewitness report by Major der Schutzpolizei und SS-Sturmnannführer Günther Rumler and Oberwachtmeister der Schutzpolizei der Reserve Otto Holzmann of the Einsatz or operations by members of the Ordnungspolizei (which comprised many different sections of the Nazi Polizei) in the Saar region, Lothringen (Lorraine), Luxemburg and France. The book was published in 1942 by the SS publishing house Nordland Verlag of Berlin.

This 81 year old 5-½ x 8-¼ inch, 244-page hardcover example of Freigemachtes Grenzland is in nice used condition with a tight spine and no odor.
