Uniformen Groß-Deutschlands (Uniforms of Greater-Germany) is a very detailed and informative publication covering the military uniforms of the German army, navy, air force, police, SA, SS, Nazi Labor Service, NSKK and NSFK, RLB, Red Cross, Hitler Youth and BdM, Jungvolk and even railway personnel.

The rare 4 x 5-5/8 inch, 56-page softcover pocket-size book has twenty-four (24) 15-color Tafel or color Plates showing Nazi uniforms, visor hats, caps, helmets, shoulder boards, cuff titles, marksmanship lanyards, daggers, aiguellettes, gorgets, portepees, Nazi badges, police shakos, sleeve insignia, etc. in great detail.

The color tables in this book are high quality with 15 colors, NOT like the average ones found in Reibert manuals or Nazi almanac-type pocket calendars!

This book was published by Moritz Ruhl Verlag of Leipzig, a company that had produced these kind of German military uniform publications since the 1870s. This book is undated but must be from 1939 or later as the title refers to Greater Germany, the name used for Hitler's Germany after the Anschluß, the reunification of Austria with Nazi Germany. Previous editions were called Deutsche Uniformen.

The light green paper covers are discolored along the edges but the interior pages are in very good condition with perfectly bright colors. A previous owner crossed out his name on the title page (see image below left) but there is no damage to any of the other pages of the book.

This very rare Nazi book is 100% original to the Third Reich. The spine was retaped and the binding was restapled at some point.

There is advertising for other Moritz Ruhl Verlag publications on French Army uniforms, the Norwegian Army, the former Austrian-Hungarian Army and Navy, English Army uniforms, and even American Army uniforms inside the front and back covers.
