This is an absolutely original two-sided Third Reich color map produced to give to Aral gasoline customers. It is the very informative B.V.-Aral Karte 14 or map number 14 that covers the 66 mile area around Berlin.

We can not find a date on this Nazi map but Reichsautobahn or stretches of the freeway finished by 1 April 1939 are marked.

Completely unfolded B.V.-Aral Karte 14 measures 17 x 17 inches. The scale is 1:500,00 meaning that 1 centimeter (about ½ inch) equals 5 kilometers. Cities with Aral gas stations are marked with a special blue dot, and little orange flags mark Aral gas stations that sell diesel.

The back side of this Nazi color map has a close-up map of Greater-Berlin and Potsdam as well as suggestions for scenic drives along the Havel and Spree rivers, to Wandlitz (where Dr. Joseph Goebbels had a country home), to the Schorfheide nature area (where Hermann Göring's Carinhall estate was located), to Frankfurt/Oder, Zerbst, and other places.

This 80 year old Nazi map of the Berlin area is in very good, used condition. No tape, no odor.
