Deutsche Kämpfen in Spanien is a glowing report about German participation on the side of Francisco Franco in the Spanish Civil War with international communists between 1936 and 1939, often referred to as the Wehrmacht trial for World War II. The book starts with the message that Spanish General Kindelan sent to Hermann Göring on 4 April 1939 about victory in the Spanish Civil War, in which the “cooperation of Spanish pilots and their German comrades of the Condor Legion were an example of power and bravery.”
