Lot #309 - artist Michael Kiefer painted these golden eagles and his painting was on display at the German House of Art in Munich. Visitors to the museum could buy this 105 x 141 mm black & white card produced by Photo-Hoffmann (their catalog number HDK 524).
It
was
never mailed and has a blank back. Fine condition, 100% original to the Third Reich period.

Lot # 154GJ - a Nazi military propaganda postcard of a Wehrmacht Grenadier and his machine gun. Produced by Erich Gutjahr Bildverlag of Berlin, the 92 x 142 mm card is from the series
Ueber allem steht die deutsche Infanterie (a quote by Adolf Hitler about the importance of the German Infantry).

Lot # 118 - this is a 100% original Third Reich German color postcard featuring artwork by famous German painter and illustrator Erich Döbrich of Steglitz with the title “The Steel Family Tree”.
Lot # 227b - a Third Reich Festpostkarte produced by the Central Publishing House of the NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachfolger for the September 1938 Nazi Party Days held in Nürnberg. The card was mailed on 8 September 1938 from Nuremberg and has a 1938 eagle and swastika event cancelation that say NÜRNBERG Reichsparteitag der NSDAP over a green Hitler postage stamp.
Original real usage, with stains.

Lot # 339 - right, an original Third Reich postcard produced for members of the Kriegsmarine (note the anchor design on the back) and sent by Feldpost to a Fraulein in Wien by a sailor stationed in Wilhelmshaven on 2 February 1944. The 33 mm round stamp with the eagle and swastika in the middle is from the Kommando 2. Marineersatzabteilung.
A handwritten notation on the back shows the card arrived in Vienna, the second largest city in Adolf Hitler's Grossdeutschland, on 9 February 1944. Very good used condition.

The 106 x 145 mm Postkarte shows the development of weapons from bow and arrow to k98 rifles and Nazi pistols. It was produced by Verlag Der Deutsche Schütze of Berlin-Wilmersdorf and was never mailed and has no writing on the back.
Please note that originally the two red banners to the right of the tree had Nazi swastikas on them, but they were scratched off by a post-World War II owner.

Lot # 236 - this 105 x 148 mm photographic Nazi postcard shwows the Lager des weiblichen Arbeitsdienstes at Betsche, north of Posen in East Prussia. On 1 November 1941 an enthusiastic Arbeitsmaiden named Anni sent this card to her friend Hertha in Leoben, telling her how much she enjoyed her obligatory labor service. She reported she felt at home in the barracks and that the food was very good.
Lot # 69 - this is a beautiful high-quality 100% original Third Reich photographic postcard of the Führerbau, containing Adolf Hitler's Munich office. The 105 x 148 mm deckle edge card was produced by A. Langauer of Munich and it was their catalog number 527a.
Fine unused condition, blank back.

Lot 174 - this 91 x 142 mm Third Reich postcard shows important buildings finished in Berlin since the National Socialists were elected to power in Germany in 1933, among them Hitler's New Reichschancellery, the Olympic Stadium, Hermann Goering's Air Ministry and the Deutschlandhalle. It was never mailed but there is a handwritten note dated 4 June 1941 on the back.
Very good condition.

Lot # 318 - right, an interior view of the House of German Art in Munich is shown on this Third Reich postcard produced by Photo-Hoffmann of München (their catalog number K14). The photographic card measures 90 x 140 mm and was mailed from Munich to Vienna on 25 September 1937. The brown Hindenburg stamp has a round "Munich - Capital of the Movement" cancelation with a swastika.
Good used condition, note the bent upper right corner.

Lot # 303 - a fine Nazi photographic postcard showing an aerial view of the Nazi Party Leadership School, Ordensburg Vogelsang in the Eifel. The Fliegeraufnahme was officially released by the RLM.

Lot # 310 - a fine photographic postcard showing the Nazi leadership school Ordensburg Sonthofen in Bavaria. The photo is attributed to L. Pfleghaar of Sonthofen, who also published it.
The 90 x 139 mm card was never mailed during the Third Reich. A previous owner wrote Now Oberst Beck Kaserne on the back. Very nice unused condition.

Lot # 316 - left & below, this 95 x 141 mm card has the lyrics of the German navy song "Comrades at Sea" and was produced in Hamburg. It was mailed by Feldpost on 31 August 1940 by Soldat Hans Interholz to his wife in Wien. In the neatly typed message he thanks his Annie for the four postcards he received in one day but mentions that, of course, he would prefer a letter! |

Lot # 320 - the design on this 105 x 147 mm Nazi postcard was created by Professor Klein of Muenchen especially for the 1938 Nazi Party Days held from 5 - 12 September in Nuernberg. It was published by the Central Publishing House of the NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachfolger.
This Festpostkarte was never mailed but does have a green Nazi airmail and black Hindenburg postage stamp on the back with different NÜRNBERG Reichsparteitag der NSDAP event and slogan cancelations (see below).
Good used condition, as shown right.

Lot #321 - the Third Reich photographic postcard on the left produced by Photo-Hoffmann of Munich (their catalog number HDK 337) shows the Josef Thorak sculpture Zwei Menschen (Two People).
The painting was on display at the House of German Art in Munich where this 105 x 148 mm Third Reich postcard was for sale to visitors. It was never mailed and has a blank back. It is in very nice condition with a slight blemish to the right of the legs.
