Lot 324 - the Third Reich postcard on the left has a striking illustration of a Wehrmacht tank attack by German painter and illustrator Erich R. Döbrich of Steglitz. Note the Luftwaffe planes overhead and Nazi soldiers running in the foreground.
The 103 x 147 mm color Postkarte was published by Kyffhäuser-Verlag of Berlin and was never mailed. The back is blank, no writing, no cancellations.
Very good unused condition, exactly as shown left.

Lot 326 - this is a photographic postcard of Leutnant Hermann Friedrich Joppien, the World War II fighter ace who claimed 70 enemy aircraft shot down in roughly 270 combat missions. After his 40th aerial victory he was awarded Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves which he is wearing in this photographic Nazi postcard. Joppien was killed in action on the Eastern Front on 25 August 1941.
On 12 January 1944 this card was sent by Feldpost to an Obergefreiter stationed in Wien by a Kriegsmarine sailor stationed in Cuxhaven.
Lot 322 - this original 89 x 143 mm Nazi postcard was produced at the time of the referendum for the Anschluss, the plebiscite in which the citizens of Austria voted overwhelmingly for reunification with Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany in the spring of 1938. It shows a monument erected in the town of Sant Jakob im Rosental to commemorate the "freedom fight" of Carinthia with the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs after World War I. The monument is flanked by large swastika banners.
The card was produced by Kunstverlag Franz Schilcher of Klagenfurt and was never mailed and has a blank back. Very nice condition, exactly as shown above.

Lot 332 - Fliegen Lernen! (Learn to Fly!) is the title of this colorful 103 x 148 mm Nazi postcard produced by the NSFK (Nationalsozialistische Flieger Korps or National Socialist Flying Corps) in cooperation with the Reichsminister der Luftfahrt.
Unfortunately, there is a short tear about 2 inches from the bottom right corner and there is a handwritten name and address on the back, which somebody tried to erase. However, the card was never mailed and has no stamp or cancellation on the back. Our price reflects the condition.

Lot 344 - left, an original Nazi photographic postcard of the famous Funkturm, the radio broadcasting tower in Reichshauptstadt Berlin. Note the Nazi eagle on top of the flagpole on the left side of the card.
The 90 x 138 mm postcard was never mailed and has a blank back and is in very nice, unused condition.

Lot 338 - Hermann Göring was Chief of the Luftwaffe, Head of the Four Year Economic Plan and second in command during the entire Third Reich. He also was the State Forestry and Hunting Master of Germany and many existing and new hunting facilities in Nazi Germany were named after him.
The two postcards we offer here show the Reichsjägerhof Hermann Göring in Braunschweig-Riddagshausen (top, 105 x 148 mm) and the Hermann Göring Haus in Heubach (bottom, 90 x 140 mm). The top card was never mailed and has a blank back, the other card was mailed from Heubach on 9 January 1942 - see photo below.

The original 105 x 148 mm postcard was produced by Photo-Hoffmann of Strassburg (not Munich) and in nice used condition, exactly as shown.

Lot 342 - right is a Nazi propaganda postcard produced for the RAD Kunstschau, the Reichsarbeitsdienst Art Show held in Prague in 1944. The 105 x 148 mm Third Reich postcard is called In der Freizeit (leisure time) using an oil painting by Hermann Scholten of a serious looking RAD man playing an accordion. It was produced by Verlag Dr. Franz Vogtmann of Berlin and it is their card number 1038.
Very nice unused condition, blank back.

Lot 287 - a fine original unused Nazi era German Red Cross postcard featuring a Bergmütze, mountain climbing gear and the DRK cross over a Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss. It is hard to see in our photo, but the Edelweiss and the text are printed in shiny silver ink. The 105 x 147 mm Postkarte was produced by the Rainer Arbeitsgemeinschaft Presse- und Propaganda of Gebiet Hochland (19) in Munich to recruit people for the DRK's mountain accident and rescue service.
This Nazi postcard is in very nice, unusued condition. It was never mailed and has a blank back. Pictured on page 70 of Postcards of Hitler's Germany Volume 3 by Roger Bender.

Luger in his right hand. Produced by Erich Gutjahr Bildverlag of Berlin, the 94 x 142 mm card is from the series
Ueber allem steht die deutsche Infanterie (a quote by Adolf Hitler about the importance of the German Infantry).
Unused, blank back. Very nice condition, 100% original to the Third Reich. Please note, the actual postcard is not as 'washed out' as our photo suggests.
