This is a lot of two original Third Reich pieces of ephemera / propaganda.

The 5-3/4 x 8 inch one-sided tan cardstock piece with the Hitler illustration on it shown left, contains the Hitler Youth promise to at all times “fulfill my duty in love and loyalty to the Führer and our Flag”. It was produced for a Hitlerjugend swearing in ceremony to be held on 26 March 1944.

The art is dated 1940 and is by well-known Germain painter and graphic artist Professor Otto von Kursell who was a recipient of the Nazi Blood Order and member of the Reichstag, director of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin-Charlottenburg, and senator of the Prussian Academy of Arts.

Shown above is the second item in this Third Reich lot, a two-sided cardstock piece produced by the NSDAP-Kreisleitung Nürnberg. The front side contains a patriotic propaganda quote by Adolf Hitler under a death rune. The text points out that Germany must continue to exist despite worries, hardships and personal sacrifice.

The Nazi Party in Nuremberg never gave or sent this to the family of a fallen Wehrmacht soldier so the spaces for a personal message and stamp of the NSDAP Ortsgruppe on the back are blank.

Both pieces are in nice used condition - no writing, no odor and 100% original.
